Japan Peace Boat Visits Wai'anae Valley For a Second Time

The Japan Peace Boat visitors arrived in November for a second time this year. Hawaii was their last port stop of their three month international exchange tour. WOW hosted them at the Kahumana Organic Farm and Cafe in the Wai'anae valley. The WOW women taught the japanese visitors to dance hula, to make flower and Ti leis, to pound poi and provided them a traditional hawaiian luau luncheon. In turn, the japanese visitors taught the WOW women how to do a Bon dance! The cultural exchange was enjoyed by everyone!
